Leather, and who it suits

Leather is the practical choice, which is not how it is usually sold. A spilled drink on leather is a cloth and ten seconds; on an untreated woven fabric it can be permanent. If you have young children, a dog, or a habit of eating on the sofa, this is the category to start in.

Worth being precise about what "leather" means here, because the trade often is not. Two ranges, two genuinely different materials. The Roma is real leather blended with fabric panels: a hide, so it takes marks where you sit and gets darker and softer there, and it wants conditioning every six to twelve months. The Nova is tech leather - a coated synthetic that is breathable, scratch-resistant and wipes clean, holds its colour indefinitely, and should never be conditioned. Neither is better than the other; they suit different houses, which fabric or leather works through properly.

What leather asks in return is that you keep it away from five things that will ruin it - direct radiator heat, sunlight, baby wipes, household cleaning spray, and anything containing alcohol. The care guide names them and says what to use instead.

Leather sofas here are stocked in set sizes rather than made to order, so they come with the full 14-day right to change your mind. Delivery is free across UK Mainland, cash or bank transfer on the doorstep. Most UK Mainland orders arrive in 2–4 working days. Some Wales and Scotland postcodes take 5–7 working days. A 1-year guarantee covers the frame and springs. Check the doorway first with the size guide: a leather three-seater does not give under pressure the way a fabric one does.
